Description
The DS18B20 is a digital thermometer sensor developed by Maxim Integrated (now Analog Devices). It offers precise temperature measurements with 9 to 12-bit resolution and communicates via the 1-Wire protocol, requiring only one data pin for communication with a microcontroller (plus power and ground).
Each DS18B20 has a unique 64-bit serial code, which allows multiple sensors to be connected on the same data line—making it highly suitable for multi-point temperature monitoring.
